let's make cheesecake cookie bars! (Cameron in the background is excited lol)

This recipe essentially takes

Kroll's Kookies and has a

cheesecake filling in the

center

can be made in a 9x13, 9x9 or 8x8 pan

start out by making the cookie dough

grease pan with nonstick baking spray

press ~2/3 of cookie dough down in

pan in an even layer

just use your fingers, keep it

easy! Let's make cheesecake filling next

softened cream cheese

and sugar

blend this first

mix mix mix

8 oz. cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup granulated white sugar

1 large egg

1 Tbsp. flour

1 tsp. vanilla extract

smooth it out

take remaining dough and flatten into a disk and place on top there will be some gaps where the cheesecake filling peaks through but that's OK!

will look something like this! ready to BAKE!

use the toothpick test to make sure cheesecake filling is done. let cool then cut

you can place in fridge to cool completely but actually not really necessary after cooling on the counter.

now we cut!

should come out clean!
